Recipe Summary Southern Addiction Mint Julep

A mint julep with a twist. If you don't have enough room in your glass for 2.5 ounces of sweet tea, just top it off.

Ingredients | Starlight Mints Candy

2 tablespoons simple syrup

10 fresh mint leaves

½ cup crushed ice, or as needed

2 fluid ounces peach-flavored bourbon liqueur (such as Southern Comfort ®)

1 ½ fluid ounces peach schnapps

2 fluid ounces club soda

2 ½ fluid ounces sweet tea, or as needed

Directions

Muddle simple syrup and mint leaves together in a large glass; add ice. Pour in peach-flavored bourbon liqueur, peach schnapps, club soda, and sweet tea. Stir well.

To make simple syrup, stir 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup water together in a saucepan, place over medium-low heat, and simmer until mixture is clear and sugar has dissolved, 1 to 2 minutes. Cool and store in refrigerator.
